Project Description
The Nordstrom Toronto Eaton Centre Store was a 220,000 sq’ build of luxury retail space on three levels of the mall.
Background
With the insight gained from the Eaton Centre Sears back-to-base project, which revitalized much of the old Sears space for Nordstrom, Onyx Mechanical was awarded their store build-out. Planning and execution were keys to success in this large-scale project which combined both back-to-base and fit-out.
Project Scope
Onyx Mechanical’s scope included three restaurants, numerous washrooms, a beauty salon, and an alteration/tailor facility with a steam boiler system certified to TSSA 31.1.
Outcome/Results
Once the grand opening date was announced meeting the schedule became critical. Precision and discipline allowed us to meet the demanding deadlines and deliver a showpiece for the mall and a flagship store for Nordstrom.
