Adam Caschera, a Master Plumber and recent Partner at Onyx Mechanical, excelled as Senior Manager at Onyx, with mechanical engineering clearly in his DNA.
Rooted in a family tradition, Adam’s early career began with his father’s business, based on honesty and hard work that was further honed through trade school, and specializations in steam fitting, plumbing, and controls.
In 1999, Adam’s journey brought him to DCA Plumbing & Heating, where he rapidly ascended the ranks. By 2004, Adam had achieved his Technician license and became General Foreman the following year.
In 2008, Adam joined Onyx Mechanical, playing a crucial role in major projects such as the Toronto Eaton Centre and Yonge & Sheppard Centre Revitalizations, in which he led the “head-to-toe” revamp projects.
Adam’s principles align perfectly with the family values and old-fashioned integrity embraced by the Onyx team. He is most excited about the future of the mechanical engineering profession, recognizing the bright, educated, and diverse new generation shaping the industry with innovation, specialization, and creativity.
